Objectives
You will:
- Discuss the benefits of placement in
computer labs and the classroom;
- Identify management techniques for
implementing technology in the classroom;
- Assess the present technology situation
in the classroom and develop a Technology Integration Plan;
- Utilize and evaluate a variety of methods and
techniques to incorporate technology as a teacher tool, presentation
tool, collaborative learning tool and as a learning station;
- Develop a database of resources,
including listservs, lesson plans, worksheets, certificates, rubrics,
and online practice/test generators;
- Identify key elements of cooperative
learning and management;
- Identify and utilize various classroom
management strategies when infusing technology into the curriculum.
