Internet Integration That

Improves Reading

The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) requires that instruction be based on scientifically based research.  But how do teachers know where to find research-based strategies and resources to support classroom instruction?   What have researchers discovered about how to successfully teach children to read?   What Internet resources be incorporated into Reading instruction?

The Research

  1. NCLB and Reading:  Reading First (formula grant program) - http://www.ed.gov/admins/lead/account/nclbreference/
